There is floor-space, yoga mats, a sofa and a massage table (table is a wider than most, at 73cms).<\/p>\n

Unfortunately there are access barriers; including outside and inside steps, and the narrowness of the bathroom \u2013 I have described these below, and can discuss these further by phone or email.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Access is generally via the front door, which has two steps at the verandah and one into the hallway. There is a second access via a side door, with one step at the door, and a second step between the two rooms within the workspace. The bathroom is quite small, with inadequate width for wheelchair access.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In hotter weather, the room is quite cool, and there is an overhead fan. In cooler weather, there is an effective gas heater, and plenty of blankets for those who love to swaddle up.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I have a little dog – Bluebell – who does not need to join our appointments, unless by your invitation!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

You can read more about what sexological bodywork is and watch a video of me talking about it here<\/a>.I welcome people of all bodies, sex, sexuality and genders, and abilities and disabilities. I have a special affinity for queer, genderqueer, intersex, transgender, bisexual, lesbian, gay people and communities, and people exploring new ways of expressing and relating. Read more here<\/a>.A sexological bodywork session can go in many\u00a0different\u00a0ways. It might be relaxing, invigorating, comforting, erotic, playful, educational –\u00a0no two sessions are the same! It is a co-created session, guided by your body. I have ideas and skills, and you bring your own interest or intentions. Together we can work out what you what to explore and how.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The focus of every session is always on\u00a0your\u00a0exploration, pleasure and learning. It might include conscious breathing, exploring pleasure and arousal, orgasm, erotic anatomy, exploring new sensations and variety of touch. Sessions can include movement, sound, breath-work, and touch as ways to explore sensation and embodiment. This may include self-touch, and practitioner\u00a0touch, based on what you want to explore for yourself.<\/p>\n

Any or all these components are welcome, but at the same time, free of pressure. There is no \u2018right\u2019 way, and every session comes from where you are at on that day, led by awareness in your body.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

You may come with a clear idea, or you may be less sure of where to start. This is completely ok. At the first session we will work out where to start!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We can talk more about this in the introductory session which you can book here<\/a>.It can be useful to wear comfortable, loose clothes, but it\u2019s not essential.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

You will decide what clothes you wish to leave on, or take off at each session – whatever feels right for you! You can bring a sarong or robe, although I will also have sarongs handy. Some people like having bare feet, or prefer to wear socks.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It\u2019s up to you what you wear!Yes!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If they are participating in the session then it becomes a pairs\/small group session rather than an individual session. If they come as a support person, you would need to feel ok about their being able to see \/ hear our interactions, as they would be sitting nearby to the working space.<\/p>\n

If you are unsure, please talk to me about bringing someone before your appointment.Sexological bodywork is not listed for claiming on health insurance unfortunately.No referral is necessary \u2013 you can book a free introductory session with me here<\/a>.This is completely up to you. I won\u2019t make any contact with anyone else without your permission.<\/p>\n

If you were referred by a counsellor \/ practitioner, you may decide to keep them informed.<\/p>\n
